Water and Magnetic Fields
Water is an incredibly simple, light molecule, yet as we all know it is essential to life.
Most people are aware that water can now be purchased with a variety of additives meant for various results, including electrolytes, minerals, flavors, carbonation, and even caffeine. But most people are not aware of another possibility: that of magnetizing water for better health.
One of the more frequently debated, yet highly effective, aspects of magnetic therapy is that of “magnetized water.” This little-known concept is considered by some to be impossible as it is claimed that water does not hold a magnetic charge. This is true for water that comes out of the faucet at home and even bottled water. Metals in the treatment facilities and plumbing demagnetize the water. Fresh water at the source (mountain springs), however, is charged by the earth’s magnetic field. This charge is easily and quickly lost when treated and transported in metal containers and pipes.
Magnetic fields change the physical nature of water molecules. Ions in the water are altered, reducing free radicals, which are known to be harmful to the human body. The water molecule also expands, which changes it in such a way that it can better perform its functions within the body. Water helps dissolve food molecules and is crucial in the body’s assimilation of vitamins and minerals. It is also essential in the body’s ability to detoxify and regulate itself. Larger water molecules perform these functions better.
Because of these changes to the water’s structure, it is said that magnetized water can also help protect the body from numerous physiological problems. As stated in the article Health Benefits of Magnets these include circulatory ailments that can lead to a build up of cholesterol, heart disease, strokes, digestive disorders, and other potentially serious problems. Magnetic water also increases solubility of calcium and is said to allow any hard deposit such as kidney stones and gall stones to become more easily broken down. Studies have shown that there are no negative side effects from drinking magnetized water.
According to the Magnetic Therapy Council “the magnetic field that is circulating around the body has the same effect on the inside as the magnetic field has on the outside of the body. It will reduce inflammation with in the body plus increase blood flow and oxygenation of the tissues, especially around any damaged areas”. Further, the Magnetic Council Therapy states, “think about it, when you drink magnetized water you are tackling your system from inside and outside at the same time. This 2 sided approach will most definitely increase the strength of the magnetic field at the point of pain plus it will also speed up the healing process by increasing the absorption rate of the magnetic field by an amazing 10 times”.
In short, magnetized water is an exceptional supplement to the benefits of magnetic therapy. By using a combination of magnetic wraps or other applications and magnetized water, magnetic fields can strategically be used on problematic areas both internally and externally, multiplying the effects of the magnet many times.
And now with this understanding of water and magnetic fields we will move on to Pets and Magnetic Therapy.
